be the inspiration
Materials and equipment required
– a minimum of three garments from which you will choose one to work on
– complimenting threads
– sewing needles
– straight pins
– measuring tape
– miscellaneous materials such as braids, embellishments and accessories
– pen and paper
A sewing machine will be provided on site (participants may also bring their own machine).
A fund of clothing, trimmings and accessories, will be made available to the participants as examples of inspiration. It will also be possible to purchase some of these pieces at a fair price.
Recycling is an essential principle of the workshop, therefore all clothing and materials should be chosen from your “treasure chest” and not newly acquired. You are very welcome to seek advice with regard to any queries you may have on your selection of materials. You are also very welcome to make an appointment in order to discuss the workshop prior to enrollment.
