Biography
Thérèse was born in Limerick, Ireland, grew up on the SW Atlantic coast and lives in Berlin. As a graduate of the Grafton Academy of Fashion and Design, Dublin, Thérèse has specialized in haute couture, studied illustration, pattern making, garment assembly and the history of fashion. Thérèse works as a freelance costume and fashion designer, along with tenures in the Staatsoper Berlin, the Deutsches Theater Berlin and the Bertold Brecht Theater am Schiffbauerdamm.
The Collection
Thérèse is a collector of vintage clothing and accessories, connecting the present with the aesthetics and craftsmanship of the past. Each piece is unique to New Vintage by Browne – every garment tells a story.
